The Black Sea International University in the Caucasus region is one of the most important international universities in the Caucasus. About the International Black Sea University

The International Black Sea University (IBSU) was established in 1995 in Tbilisi, Georgia. It was inaugurated by the second President of Georgia, Eduard Shevardnadze, and the former Prime Minister of Turkey, Tansu Çiller, under a decree from the Council of Ministers and the licensing of the Ministry of Education in Georgia. The university is the first educational institution to offer English and Georgian language programs at all three levels of education (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral).

The university has signed a memorandum of understanding with approximately 70 universities and leading organizations worldwide.
